Presentation
The Pato family has been producing wine at Quinta do Ribeirinho since at least the 18th century. In 1970 João Pato started to bottle wine from his vineyards, thus becoming the first producer in the region.

History
His son Luís Pato inherited his nonconformist and pioneering spirit, and in 1980 he produced his first wine, a monovarietal Baga of exceptional quality and absolute rarity. The 60 hectares of vineyards are planted with Baga, Touriga Nacional and Tinto Cão for the red varieties, and Maria Gomes, Bical, Cercial da Bairrada and Sercialinho for the white varieties.
